Our story
Sri Lanka born Hong Konger Oshan ‘Osh’ Gunawardana loves stylish interiors as much as a “good deal”. During his time in Hong Kong, he often found himself helping friends & family with questions and hassles related to furnishing, design, moving, etc. in the city.
This—and a few other paths aligning—led to the birth of Nirmāna, a passion-driven enterprise with the purpose of challenging the notion that beautiful spaces and quality furnishings in Hong Kong must cost a fortune and isn't worth the hassle, while facilitating the tedious end-to-end process of styling, furnishing and moving.
The Nirmāna experience prioritizes nuances of customer service and aims to maximize convenience and value for money. It is for anyone seeking beautiful and functional spaces (outdoors included) without the hassles and hefty markups associated with design, renovations/remodeling, furnishing and related services.
